Halloween 2012

Halloween is best known for trick-or-treating, a Halloween tradition since at least the early 1950s in North America. Halloween itself is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows, and was originally influenced by western European harvest festivals and festivals of the dead.

This post was an excuse to field some of the Halloween-themed K-ON! art. I’ve long passed by the era of going Trick-or-treating, a trend that has since eluded my neighbourhood owing to our ever ageing demographic. In light of this, my own personal Halloween tradition involves playing a Halloween-themed Madness Interactive Mod, eating candy and watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Happy Hallow’s Eve, everyone!
